Pilgrim Media Group is dedicated to finding remarkable characters, showcasing their talents and telling their stories. Pilgrim has produced programming for several leading television networks, including Discovery, History, A&E, Lifetime, TLC, Syfy, OWN, CMT, WEtv, and National Geographic Channel. Notable series include American ChopperDirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, and Ghost Hunters.

Pilgrim series currently airing include The Ultimate Fighter, which helped turn mixed martial arts (MMA) into a multi-billion dollar industry; Wicked Tuna, about the cutthroat, high-stakes business of Bluefin tuna fishing in Gloucester, Massachusetts; adrenaline-fueled automotive restoration show Fast N’ Loud and its motor-head spinoffs, Misfit Garage, Garage Rehab, and Shifting Gears with Aaron KaufmanBring It!, which follows a champion hip-hop majorette dance troupe and their indomitable coach; My Big Fat Fabulous Life, an inspiring, funny, and heartfelt follow-doc about Whitney Thore, whose 200-pound weight gain won’t stop her from dancing, dating, and donning a bikini; and the NAACP-award winning Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s, a docu-series about the matriarch behind a collection of family-run soul food restaurants and OWN’s longest-running series. They are currently developing new projects for CBS, TNT, Bravo, and Netflix.

Other highly-praised Pilgrim projects include the award-winning documentary series Lindsay, which introduced a bold new style of “meta-storytelling” that brought the drama of the production process to the fore (and boy, was there drama), and Michael Sam, a documentary special that offered a candid portrait of the college football star who became the first openly gay player to be drafted into the NFL. Pilgrim was also the mastermind behind The Runner — a first-of-its kind, groundbreaking reality competition series that played out over the course of 30 days.
